The Final Horizon

The Final Horizon

Moving towards the horizon,

I can hear the soft sounds,

Of tolling of a bell,

Ah is it for me,

They are ringing?

That no one knows,

Nor can anyone tell.

I move closer,

In my sojourn to the sea,

Towards that calm ocean of eternity,

I hear it’s now calling for me,

As I reach nearer the shore,

I leave behind all my memories,

Treasures and belongings for sure

My earthly and worldly possessions,

My future biological consumptions,

For my dearest well wishers of mankind,

I leave all that for you,

All and everything behind

As I move closer to the horizon,

They all see me as a passer by,

‘Twas in me they know not,

Who’s that Lovely one?

That’s about to go,

You don’t,

They don’t either know.

Nor does heaven also know,

The glow is shining,

All the way through,

Sweetie is still singing,

Lullaby’s for all of you.

The glory of the youth I bestow,

Along with me,

I take all away,

To the distant expanse of space,

Where likes of human nature,

There lies no trace.

As I go away,

Many will surely say,

Stay behind you’re so lovely,

As a honey bee,

For ever you shall that be.

Do not go, it’s not your time,

The midnight bells,

How ever do chime,

But sure as ever do you know,

As towards the horizon once you go.

There you shall see for yourself,

There will be on earth that day,

You know and heavens know too,

Lovely one there will be roses for you.

Red roses shall be laid on your lovely path;

There will be a tear in the eyes,

Of those who at times had a wrath,

But as you go towards the horizon,

If you have really now to go,

Let your pen a beautiful poem,

For us all once again finally flow.

As I go towards the horizon,

I know you are all my loved ones,

All, whom I know,

As I go towards the horizon,

Oh pray let me now go.

May another one rise,

It shouldn’t for you be a surprise,

That I return in some form,

So memorable;

I was and will be,

Ever commendable

Good bye, ye folks my friends,

The end may be near,

But may not be the real end.

There towards the horizon,

Step by step, I now go,

Though very, very slow.

The horizon does,

Now beckon me so.

Nice

We will all face the horizon (or should I say not -we all) someday and how beautiful it will be and yes your roses will be there also. I look forward to that day as well but not now as there is too much to do before you pass into the horizons.

Peace be always with you Poet

"Death" is nonsense: what is there to die?
"Life"? How could " life" "die"? That is a contradiction
in terms. Can "light" become "darkness"?
"Light" can only cease to be apparent
