WHO AM I NOW?

"WHO AM I NOW?"
Margaret Ann Waddicor, 16th November 2010.

A moment look on high
be swallowed by the sky (I did just that and was swallowed)
self esteem find the cream/queen
deep in the mind
unless you are a sychophant
a damned great social elephant.

Prejudices ridden
illusions gone
religion's confusions cleared away
all fear of others judging
what and why you tick
whether you conform to norms
ethical.

Dominated, lowly,
thought of as an idiot
cowed by teachers, children, lovers,
peers
creating all your hidden fears
and guiding life
its pattern twisted just to conform.

When you are an individual
and do what you think fit, done,
with all this cliché erudition
following tradition to a T,
now I'm happy to be me,
no fences in between
the sky, the earth, all nature, people,
open as a book.

Defrosted spirit warmed and bright,
ready so to face, even my disgrace,
so small a cog in life its wheel,
I'm free as air, so don't despair,
all will be so understood,
in existences great wood.

My favorite verse is the last one, because it comes to a peaceful ending with conflict resolved. this is marvelous:
Defrosted spirit warmed and bright,
ready so to face, even my disgrace,
so small a cog in life its wheel,
I'm free as air, so don't despair,
all will be so understood,
in existences great wood.

I just love your going out on that limb with this beauty of a write I immersed myself in for a moment here and this part being my favorite:

now I'm happy to be me,
no fences in between
the sky, the earth, all nature, people,
open as a book.

I love it and as it is as it shall be

Love to you Snow Lady

you are a fine collection of friends I have here,
and no doubt about it.

My love and thanks to you all dear friends.

but the reflection of the moon on water, lives." Kenzan.
