From Yellow to Blue

Take a night out of your life
And what makes it all change?
Take a night out of your life
And watch it all change

Take the light out of the day
And what makes it all change?
Take the light out of the day
And I swear it’s all strange

Come inside, and sleep till winter
Come inside, and dream it all better

Take the love out of your heart
And what makes it all change?
Take the love out of your heart
And I swear you won’t feel the same

Take the pain out of love
And what makes it all change?
Take the pain our of love
And I swear you won’t love again

Come inside, and dry from the rain
Come inside, it’s warm don’t complain

You’re all I had
You’re all I ever had

Take your soul from your life
And what makes it all change?
Take your soul from your life
And I swear you won’t die again

Come inside, and sleep till you’re better
Come inside, and dream it all over

You were all I had loved
You were all I had ever loved

All I ever felt was love for you
In shades from yellow to blue

Gee I hope these are lyrics because the more I read the more I could feel the music and beat in this, I perhaps am not so fond of your ending as the rest of it. Just think perhaps there is one too many lines with 'love' in it and the repetition at the end seems to weaken it for me. I would love to hear this set to music

Dear WT, this is just beautiful and sad. I reckon I should sing this poem as a love song for someone. Lovely piece.
