Action Adventure Romance And Thrills

exposition complete
minutiae displayed
exhaustively
music swells emotional proxies
we are hooked
...on something
the play is small
the dialogue stilted
hardly clever
yet, emeshed deep in place and era
this peek into the exotic
via flickering light
in lieu of flat black mundanity
delights me no end
that was a good movie
you say "no, just more schlock
B-caliber bullshit"
you don't get it
I like where it took me
transported me
enthralled me
enveloping me
in another place and time
with those people
and their stories
for 87 minutes
charming me giddy
providing a world to ponder into
before sleep
so
I don't care about your version
of what is a good movie
I liked it
that makes it good
...it was a good movie!

I like the 'movie.'!!!
Our likes and dislikes are subjective aren't they brittle light?
You can enjoy them, but I abstain from too much, as I dream at night about them, and there's no point in giving oneself nightmares is there?
I like the language you use too, unusual in its way but fitting the subject I think.
