Hello Everyone

Sorry I haven't been around much. Father-in-law was taken to hospital the friday before last, sadly he died this morning - I will try and look in over the next week, but funeral arrangements have to be made. I miss seeing your poems and hope you are all well. Hope to see your work in the not to distant future.

Thank you for your lovely comments! Funeral is on Friday! My father-in-law died Friday and on Saturarday my mother fell over and broke her hip, she had the operation yesterday, so I'll be going down ( aprox 350 miles ) to help her sometime this week.

Makes you wonder what's going to happen next!

Thanks it's wonderful to have such good friends.

Thank you for your kind word. The funeral took place last Friday, my husband and his brother and sister related some happy memories - it all seemed so surreal. He was a true gentleman and will be sorely missed.

Thank you for your kind comments. In the last days of his life he was suffering from demetia, though he was in and out of lucididty. He had many things wrong with him and suffered terrible pain from crumbling bones, gout and various other ailments, nonetheless he managed to retain a sense of humour, I will always remember his cheeky smile.

Thanks Raj

I also hope your mum recovers from her fall soon and without too much discomfort.

My mother came home from hospital yesterday. She is progressing nicely, though I'm sure it will take a few weeks before complete recovery, my husband and I will be visiting her on Friday. Your kind words of comfort mean a great deal.
