Yeah, I Judge, Don't You?

.
you pilfer
pander
gossip
and slander

you're sloppy
lazy
a "don't give a damner"

you cheat
and lie
whenever it suits

you're a lummox
a brute
a scheming galoot

but I should treat you
with more respect?
sorry man!
what did you expect?

character counts
and you ain't no hero
in my book of stats
you're a pluperfect zero

I pity your subject. You come down really, really hard.

Impeccable rhythm-and-rhyme. Thank you for sharing this polished piece.

I know someone just like this only it is a woman! (and a poisonous reptile of a female, too!) I really like the way this piece builds to the ending... My favorite lines:

but I should treat you
with more respect?
sorry man!
what did you expect?

character counts
and you ain't no hero
in my book of stats
you're a pluperfect zero

Always, Cat

and those who claim not to are liars, I judge them for it. [grins]
Yes man! Let it be said.
