Messy As Hell
.
earth
still juvenile
with its volcanic complexion
shimmy-shakey dances
huff 'n puffin' ways
thrashing
pounding
explosive
tantrums
Mother earth?
more like
a rude little twirp

Hello,
I like the style in which this little piece (with big meaning) is composed. My favorite lines are:
Mother earth?
more like
a rude little twirp
whimsey on a serious subject. I like it!

You know,
I've thought of earth's eruptions and earthquakes as an attempt to shake us parasites off. We're destroying the earth, and it's only trying to defend itself. ;-)
It is such a secret place, the land of tears. ~Antoine de Saint-Exupéry

hi
Thanks for your thoughts. My thoughts on the matter: no matter what we humans do, the earth will regenerate itself, although we will probably not be around to witness that glorious time

However, awareness was here
However, awareness was here from the beginning, will always be reforming itself into the reality appearing...
I'm not sure humans are the epitome of consciousness, though I feel that we're still going through birth pangs.
Cool poem. Hot topic. ;-)
