Tsunami Japan 2011
Let us not play
Into the minds of human beings,
With the good or evil intentions
Of a God,
If there were ever one
The mind of man,
Created a God
So let not religion be
The sole precursor
Of procreation
We have a scientific version.
This earth quake
Wasn’t the first
Nor is it the last,
So with due regards,
To your Science and God,
Let’s get over with the past.
The earth shakes of its own volition,
What has God to do?
We remember him only
When we have a calamity
And no man
Can save an occurrence
Of natural nature's decision
If you go back into realms of time,
All land was a big chunk,
Since split many a times.
The world moves on
With or without God,
Let’s also thus move on
With confidence
Thank your God
If you have to believe in one

This earthquake
of magnitude 8.8
is a repetition of one ,
twelve 12000 years ago .
so God has kept us safe
for so long
why this wrath now ???
can that BE answered
by someone .???

I have never bothered to find where the tectonic plates are.It stands to reason that the release of stress on one would result in the increase of stress on another. so I now await another large Quake on the Pacific rim soon.If God IS a mere invention of man, at least the invention gives some type comfort to believers in times of great sorrow. Very insightful write......................scribbler

God is a must entity,
In his unique form,
In order to cement folks
Similarly torn,
As all on earth
Who are born?
Need the glue
To stick to
And
Hope that all knew.
Tsunamis shall come and go
God will surface time and again,
You and I may not remain
But the earth shall
The futures contain.

Thank you
there is one lady 86 years of age
who has survived three tsunamis
including this one
ITS GODS GRACE
and her destiny
to live long enough
till she meets
her natural end.

God,
God was man's invention for keeping control, religion devides and the longer we're devided the happier the money people are. I'm always glad to hear someone else can see through the control method of religion, that gives me hope along with the message in your poem. Man is responsible for man but that means we share, and some people don't like sharing their comforts.So this god fellow always seems to pick on the poor, look at the ghetto's and shanty towns around the world. God is very even handed what. Your poem speaks volumes, i just wish more could read and understand. Regards Roscoe.
