Losing my creativity

I just joined this site recently. I have posted some poems that were written years ago. I have tried to write something new, but my mind is blank.

I take a lot of psych medication. I believe it is causing my brain fog. Argh!

I just want to have my old way of thinking. Years ago before the medication, I had poems stuck in my head. It was just a matter of writing them down. Now I am lucky to just get through the day.

It really does suck. I have a little notebook that I keep with me. It is for jotting down ideas. So far it is blank.

How do you get your creativity back? Am I just going through a bad case of writers block?

I know personally what you are going through! I am OCD and DID. I was even once diagnosed as bipolar, which I am not. I've been through many, many medications until I found the right ones. what you need is a Dr, who can get it right. it may take a few tries. on some medications, I couldn't write a word of poetry. on others, I was a total zombie. honey, you hang in there and insist that your Dr. keep trying for the best medication, or combination of medication be tried! don't settle for less. if your dr. refuses, ask for a new one!!! best wishes,

p.s.

have you had a change in medication since you noticed this problem?

I will speak to my doctor. I have bipolar, PTSD and anxiety. The meds give me mind fog. I will see if there is something else I can take. Thanks for the advice.

Love and light. Namaste.

I have CRT (can't remember sh!t) and am hair deprived and they must be involved in my lack of proaction in writing lately. The BLOCK is a real pain in the butt

I've got CRT too...laugh. I will get over this block. Something will inspire me. At least that is what I'm hoping.

Love and light. Namaste.
