the thorough thinker

The thorough thinker
opened his
mouth and thrust
his bold blade
of belittlement
deep into
my heavy heart of hope.
Slashing it’s
way into the sulking
sands of
cynicism .

Last few words:
My inspiration is the play cyrano de bergerac it’s hard to think because my head these past two days has been killing me so forgive me for the stanzas i’ve been writing a story when i can think or am not hurting so much.

It's truly deep-cutting, a melancholic expression.

Well expressed.
