And, what I am thinking is that outmoded thinking won’t fix our problems. In the southeast, we have a phrase, “stinkin’ thinkin’” and i bring this up to point out we need new, novel approaches to our world problems.

what you have written is good food for thought. I do what I can by social distancing and wearing a mask... but I see many who don't!

your frustration at the seeming belief that we can do nothing to help the world and all its' problems. I also understand that you have a multifaceted opinion here.
