There was Yesterday, And Now Today

Time is short.
Shorter than we realise;

Shorter than we expect.

Yesterday plans were made...
... today I am told I will never see him again.

Outside the midday sky is grey
hours passed in a numb void
and unrelenting is the rain.

Goodbye dear friend, it was an honour and joy to know you... the day our families became one when my daughter married your son is one of the happiest days of my life. Rest in Peace
