Friend

open-minded
always there
never judging
gentle and fair

since the beginning
this is you
a solid beacon
in the darkness shining through.

in those times
when I come undone
a word from you
and I cease to run

my touch-stone
wise and sure
you are like no other
your intentions pure...
my dear friend!
