IF AT ALL WE KNEW

There is nothing at all
we know
if at all
what will happen next

if a disaster we'd die before
if one of happiness
laced with jealousy
then we'd all fall
ere the fall

if at all we knew
what was coming anew
life would be like morning dew
stamped and trampled
by many
not few

only our love
if we knew
we were in arms
of each other due

then we'd say later
to one another
my only love
we knew

Hello L, good poem. It would be great if you were to include "there is a time to love and a time to die."
You have some good rhymes. Lovely imagery about the trampled grass and morning dew. Maybe the title could be different, dunno, but think about it. Just my offering.

to think and imagination combine
we shall dine in my mind
and sing
as you say

I have loved all along
now I feel it's time to say
good bye
But no one knows
not even I
when to say good bye
Even if I try
don't know why
