Sixty Pixi In October

Like a Pixi, I hang around
wondering waiting to feel different
on a Pixi 13 October 17
I felt the same as I was day before.

As a wanderer, I move about
wondering why I'm here this strange land
a Pixi 21 a Libra girl
I felt the same as day before.

Moving along the twenties year
I wondered what I want to do
who I want to be
a wife by thirty, four kids into existence.

A Pixi 30 my dream manifested
married, 3 kids, a son soon to be
living my best life
nothing else mattered.

A Pixi 40 eyesight began to wane
glaucoma took over, cataract made it cloudy
MS reared it's ugly head
Menopause appears right on time.

A Pixi 50 an empty nest
took my first drink a mix shot
no big deal with parents like mine
I could drink them under a table.

A Pixi 55 ready for senior discounts
I didn't know the age was raised to 65
I clapped back, I waited 10 years for this.
what you gonna do when I'm 65, raised to 75

A Pixi 60 in a few days
I know why I'm here
I know what I want to do
this Carolina Girl Pixi 60.

yeah my kids and their friends dare if I could take a shot they concocted. they looked at me like you not affected. i literally felt nothing. but when my daughter boyfriend made a stronger one later. they all got picked on because I was lit. Imagine a person who is lit naturally who never drank before. I had only one cup and I asked my daughter if they had anymore. my daughter said nope you don't know how to act. all I did was picked on everybody, laughed at their friends, and danced to the music. It was at there house so I was good.. 10 years later I don't drink unless I'm invited to family gathering or event.

Pixi 60 I wanna got to the arcade play laser tag, bowling and drink a couple bar drinks to level out the vertigo from MS and go home. lol

me a minute to get the feel of it, but I soon discovered that Pixi is your nickname for yourself.
I like the progression of the ages and the descriptions. It made me think of the important times of my life.
Thanks for the peek into yours. Happy Birthday! ~ Geez.
