Journeying Onwards

We all will never ever meet
but you all are as ever astounding
Neopoet owes to you its founding

life is just a forgotten lousy journey
no one knows what is next in coming

keep humming
it's like a dream
so does it seem
yet we all hope to meet
on the other side of
some unknown hill

Which one

none knows still
space has no hill

there are no hills
Bills Jills thrills
drills nor grills
behind us or later
about our nose
we all suppose

take care life is just a
granted lovely happy journey
ticket less both ways

So be happy you saved your dollars safely
others may consume it much more fancifully

if they don't survive coronaically
still be happy
life is just not a lousy journey
yes it's pleasant really

make well of it
will all ye

Dear lovedly, I've been away for some days. Your poem is philosophical, makes one meditate. I've gotten a little confused, don't know whether you're saying life is a "lousy journey" or a "pleasant one".
"granted lovely happy journey" IMO, it's not granted at all. Nothing is! Mine has not been a happy journey, but God had mercy on me and I'm here, tho' my thoughts are often very sad.
Life can be snatched away mercilessly at a young age. Imagine being told you're going to die when you're 22 years old?
Anyway, your poem has ellicited powerful feelings, so that's good in my book.
All the best, Gracy
PD: I notice that few neopoet members comment on newcomer's poems. I always make a point of critiquing at least one each time I visit. So sometimes I don't have time to get around to old timers. I apologize.

no need to apologise
I know oldies are read but by minuscule few
we all have passed our teens also in poetry .

Stay well ///a guy told me and my mom/// I'd die when I'm. 13 //now I'm a bit out of reach @81+++plus
But still don't know
when I will catch the last bus
or miss my final flight
or finally drown
in the river flowing by
where I live
I can't swim
lol
Life I take it as humour
and fun
that's how I have lived on
may touch 89
sorry 99
