Remembering Jess

You always inspired
did boost
with your mind at rest
felt we all were not the best

you gave me the insight
of a poetic mind
where blind men could see more
than those with piercing sight

brains prompted to be reborn
don't frown
I still ain't an archaic clown
now on my last leg
though fairly sound ,

you were a younger one
not fifty
many poets
you'd still had to beget
rather suddenly you left

I do confess
you gave me visions
I'd missed all along
loved now has become strong ....

I must go back to school
become a drop out
In America
'tis the biggest qualification
for miners and money makers

a Neopoet
I 'd love to be
a philanthropic son
your machine gun
at least a
loved one

Jess still on the run
without you
in life now there's
not your kind of fun

Hi lovedly, I did not know Jess, it appears to be very unfortunate. Your tribute poem to him is excellent. As usual, my nit is that you can tweak many extra words out for your poem to flow better. I'll not bore you with the details. Also, there are some typos or small grammatical mistakes.
I'll return for another read. Spring is arriving in Argentine Patagonia, at last!
All the best, Gracy

Jess just had six sisters, the family lost one of them just before Jess journeyed on.
He was a loner just didn't want to inflict his self on anyone, lol that is how he would put it, but I think he may have yearned for a family of his own.
He had tried most things in his life and had a very interesting time doing so.
Here on Neopoet, we seldom get to know other poets as all of us are like Hermits in thoughts.
I was lucky, in that I had other talks with, Jess, Lonnie, our Esker (Steven) Judy and of course Richard..
Each one of them held a special place in me as in their own ways they were lovely people..
I am trying to get a memorial page up for them, and maybe we have to leave this earth to join them..
There is a sight that we could have, and that is where we light a candle for anyone that has left us here, it is there on their anniversary but it is a thing I have to sort out.
Here in our house we have a memory Tree that has a heart on for each of our family that has journeyed on, with a short verse for each.
It is quite full as we both here have lost a lot of family..
I will try and sort it.
You take care and walk with us some more.
Yours as always Ian ..

Words can build a nation

We will never ever meet

but you are as ever astounding
Neopoets owe to you its founding

What did Jess's sisters have to say
I am still wondering come again

life is just a forgotten lousy journey
no one knows what is next in coming

keep humming
Life is like a dream
so does it seem
yet we all hope to meet
on the other side of the hill

WHICH ONE

No one knows still
there are no hills Bills
tills drills and grills
behind us or later
about our nose
we all suppose

Take care life is just a journey
ticket less both ways
So be happy you saved your dollars safely
others may consume betterly

if they don't survive coronaically
still be happy life is just a lousy journey

We will walk together again as this Plain time passes, as they use to in the old days when poets and artists would gather swapping Ideas..
I know you are not a fan of another plain and things but one day you will hear Loved being Whispered among the stars, and you will attend if only to suppress your Curiosity..
I think the ones that have left us are far to busy concocting poems for the other worlds than to come and say Hello to us, One of Jesse's sisters told me that she was outside the other week and a beautiful Kookaburra came and sat in a tree in her garden a couple of days before I had said to her that he was always close, so I don't know, and wont commit myself either way..
The children I know in Spirit send their love to you and have told me to say stop grumping and see what is there around you, not just with you eyes more with your senses as they know eyes are a problem. They say you can see more with your Spirit anyway.. Take care young one and know we walk this earthly path together,
Yours Ian ..

Words can build a nation

yeah
only here Ian
very few do me understand
that's what alone makes
Loved stand
okay out-stand

no doubt Glad you will be
besides me
in an UNKNOWN HEAVEN
you try to introduce to me

SOME DAY
one day
we may
if not today

STAND side by side
on this level plain

Why argue about what we both only imagine
Let's both be this earth's poetic muscian
LOL
Ian will miss you in your heaven

Keep my digital number ready
may be I will answer it

ASK some one who knows more
than me or ye
hopefully
none will find thee
