Since it is a new year let's write about either the beginning of the new year or the end of the old. Must be in quatrains but doesn't have any other restriction other than length. Please keep poem under 9 quatrains

Contest results
I was told that I had won the January contest, was there a prize for doing so, I think I have over the years won four contests.
An arrow head was one prize this I received,
The second was $25 tried to receive it but it disappeared as it goes to Amazon USA.
The third one I did manage to claim and used it to send things to an American friend.
January There has been no notification of any prize so have you stopped this year ???
Please let me know as it will save a lot of computer time searching.

I hope you are following strict isolation rules.
Please this Virus is a killer of old poets and woodmen of all ages.
The fact that the woodsman's sap is only just rising makes them more liable to get the Illness..
I have said that this illness in any country will kill 3.4% is horrific.
Just use your own sense and in a year we may be through the other side..
You both take care of each other I am glad we have the Spirit children with us all the time as the wife wanted to go out to the Supermarket this morning and the Spirit world told her not to so we ain't going GREAT..
I will pop around the corner and shop they are taking great controls to make sure we are safe,,

We have lived long enough to know when there are mysteries in things like Aids and other things let loose on the world before a vaccine is there or maybe they will suddenly find one..
Watch the figures, a lot of us old buggers, then the ethnic cleansing an extra bonus, just thinking aloud lol.
I think if I had made this thing, or one like it the best place to start it would be some badly run Meat market in some distant land, then blame the animals lol.
I remember that there were so many to blame even Haitians for one such illness, I am so glad I am my age as the children will look after me an Sadie smiles and says it is not time yet Granddad..
