July Pleasures

Imagine I am Julius Caesar
dying for Cleopatra's love
my favorite pass time being born a Cancerian
I love nothing more than sex

This month I only had indulged
in my best pass time
do you know what happened
I fused ahead of time, every time

Blame not me but my anxiety
at a ripe old age of 83
what else could one do
when she was an exotic she
