Just Because...

Just because you only dress to attract attention
It doesn't mean that only nice people will look at you

[The person I want to look at me, should be twenty-five years old, have a nice car, plenty of money
and be as sweet as a newborn baby.]

Just because automobiles aren't supposed to hit you
It doesn't mean that you should walk in the road

[I should be able to walk where there are no bumps or cracks in my path
and I don't have to lift my feet higher than my ankle.]

Just because no one is supposed to punch you in the face
It doesn't mean that you should be an asshole

[I should be able to say anything I want, to anyone I want.]

Just because you think that you are privileged
It doesn't mean that you are

[Just because... ]

walking in the road, inspired this when she yelled at me; "Hey, what the hell are you looking at, you old perv?"

In years gone by I was a young perv.
No matter how old we get, we still have eyes.

Excellent reply
how my latest finest poem
has skipped your eye

latest on on life and death....

do your mind apply
so many have
yet it's an unfinished one
Dear poet

I am plus just 50+++ more
no car at all
money yes
in some few coins
you may call change
as far as sweetness goes
I am like a half rotten pineapple
neither can you devour
nor throw
that is all is what's a woman's woe
thank god
I have an appendage
dangling...

new style 'twas lovely
she caught your eye
and
that for her was a Derby
she must've have smiled
delicious poetry
sweet and lovely

The Hour of Departure
just can't miss it

the truth is as biter as poison but heals perfectly,it happens on a daily bases.
i must say that love this poem like no other.

Yes, truth can be bitter, but not always. It is truth that I am an old pervert by her standards.
She just wants young handsome men with money and a nice car to look at her, anyone else is a pervert!
Thanks for stopping by, ~ Geezer.

I like this collection of little homilies. You have a way with words.

I have always loved words and what you can do with them. I think the greatest thing about humankind is that we speak! I sincerely doubt that as a species, we would have risen to the top of the pyramid if we did not have this means of communication. ~ Gee.

you are right. I think speach/verse was the first way of passing knowledge from one generation to the next and next again.

as a young man walking straight up to a well endowed young lady and peering down her chest, then turning to her boyfriend quipped you lucky fellow. When she objected and asked her boyfriend to defend her honour, I replied "If you put them on display, you can't blame a man for looking." Again, he agreed.
