Attached firmly, suction-cup-lips
Riding me, (your gravy train)
A most unwilling host
Skin-deep-barnicled
Itching to shed
The you of
Intense

I like the form of the poem you call eastern. Is it a form?
I enjoyed this usage of what I have known as concrete poetry

How does one get rid of a parasite like that?

I believe the form is known as a NONET, nine lines beginning with nine syllables; then descending to eight, seven, six, etc. I did spell 'barnicaled' incorrectly and missed it in the edit. I have a tendency to attract clingy/needy people, and simply have too big of a heart to detach and discard them. Thank you very much for the comment.
