polished
I saw the glimmer
the shiver thrust
on the balls of your feet
Ive been in my coffin waiting
coming awake
with the streets sizzle alive
When the dust
sifts down through the
nettles

the buttons shoved through
the slots on the nails
like your erect happy nipples
the fire warming in the womb
stretched in the fine denim

spring loaded in your left
hip
you shift to keep
in practise
throwing its delicate
feel like the wings
of a special bird
you've trained to feed
You've loved the pointed
beak for daintily removing
the dirt
and carefully and slowly
wiping on the heels of
your cross trainers

its in the genetics
and lack of pigments
this brilliancy
of the dye
is special
like the moth that
seeks the moon

we all chase tides
that forgetting us
one day
will arrive
to welcome
the next

you are a prize
but not for me
its the talent
in your hands
I request
I demand

the limited
light
that falls
into your eyes
reflects
the most precious
red
and your lashes
are like a winter
in Prussia
I still remember

still dwell upon

Did you bring
the moth?

Excellence again and again, Regards Roscoe....

Roscoe Llane,

Religion will rip your faith off, and return
for the mask of disbelief that's left.
