The Rainbow

After the rain comes the sun and the Rainbow After hard times there come the good times Like the colours of the Rainbow Violet Blue Yellow Orange Life has many aspects good and bad They say at the end of the Rainbow is a pot of gold So they say So also in life there is abundance of goodness if one can find it

They way you wrote this
Is like prose but
Who's to say that's poetry
I think the rainbows know....

We use this site to offer critique on each other's work, not private email addresses, so you will find other's thoughts here on this thread.
I like the ideas you are expressing very much, but this is written as prose and would benefit from setting out differently. I've re worked it for you to show you what I mean.

After the rain comes the sun
and the Rainbow.
After hard times there come the good times,
like the colours of the Rainbow: Violet, Blue, Yellow, Orange.
Life has many aspects good and bad.
They say at the end of the Rainbow is a pot of gold,
so they say.
So also in life there is abundance of goodness
if one can find it.

Cheers Jane
