The Absurd, The Stupid, And The Silly

peanut butter
as a haiku theme, yucky
tofu, maybe

my battery charger
runs on batteries
it was cheap

my complaint letter
to the pen company
ran out of

I save plastic bags for trash
and one to fill with all those bags
to throw in the trash

ash tray sounds better
than butt tray, face the fact
euphemisms lie

enter your PIN number
do you mean my Personal Identification Number number?

nothing to eat
my fridge works good though, it keeps
out of date food cold

a summer sunset,
a sensational evening
swatting mosquitoes

I keep my landline
I need it to call my cell
wall phones are hard to lose

Carlin was superb, sometimes his political views toward the end of his career were over the top
but, other than that, I really liked his stuff.
