Hate Hate

I hate hate.
I hate myself for hating.
I hate skinheads, the right wing, conservatives, religious ignorami.
I hate them for my hate.
To be accountable all I can do is oppose them at every opportunity.
This includes the people I love who are right wing conservatives and religious ignorami.
Don't take it personal, though it is very very personal.
I oppose your dumbfuck ignorant beliefs, not you.
I hate hate.

Well that's got that off of your chest, can't say it was a good poem, great rant though, but that was also low key for you.
Not becoming softish in your old age are we???
Softish isn't a proper word but the letters fit.
Isn't hate a weakness in ones self, where the ability to accept that others have their own beliefs, topped up with your own lack of patience of idiots makes your blood boil ??
Still love you ole grumpy one ..Tolerate you, we can.
Love you we do,

but I am sure that the many groups of people that you hate, don't give a flying F#%$! Why should you hate yourself for hating people that hurt others because of the color of their skin or their religion?
There are very few people that deserve hate but those are the ones that I hate too! Most zealots have delusions of grandeur and are sure that their way is the only way. They don't care about anyone else's feelings or well-being and live for the cause. They hate us right back!
Nice rant and under your definition, I guess I have to agree that it's poetry. ~ Gee

sorry coming from me

I'm not trying to be a stickler, but you did say that you hate skinheads etc. I hate that I should hate, really the message that I got overall. I agree Jess, it sucks that there are such people in this world.
In the immortal words of ??? "Can't we all get along?"
It would be nice if everyone could put aside the bull-shit and get along, but seeing that that isn't going to happen, I guess I will have to continue to hate. By the way, I never did meet a skinhead that I liked, Conservatives want everybody to be happy as long as you aren't too rich and Right -wingers know everything! Oh yeah, I almost forgot the Religious ignorami ! If everyone would live by the "Golden Rule" we wouldn't need religion. But of course, someone would turn that into a religion! LOL Thanks for the poem, "it's a peach" as Cheech would say. ~ Gee

I like the message, and it is poetry.
But I don't hate viruses, human or otherwise; its a waste of time. One simply opposes them, extirpating when necessary, isolating and marginalizing otherwise.
Good poem.

It sounds like an activist's manifesto.
True. The world will never be able to get rid of the bigots.
You may hate hate. It is logical. But don't let hate hold you down.

I know this world is an alloy of good and bad, hard to purify. In terms of healthy living, the first thing to try is not to hate oneself. So, keep it "hate hate", but do not hate yourself. Take a vacation to Outback and meditate at Uluru. There you will see a peaceful and serene world there.

Uluru (Ayres Rock)
I sped at all haste as you called my name
There in the sunrise your form came to me
It called out in colours that spoke in the quiet
The early morning rose, it started to bloom.

Creating a light of its own a word of life to come
I stood in awe of the beauty of its talking colours
Stand for me tall, it soothed as the rose opened
It showered my soul with abundant healing rays

The fingers of the sun seemed dull in waiting
then changes came as the sun grew strong.
The rose became a giant supping sponge
reflecting a joy to be aroused into the day

I ventured nearer to become part of the change
It embraced me as a part of its living soul
Speaking softly with the colours bouncing,
As I was lifted to the dream times of old

I am Uluru it whispered, as its strength grew
I bathe in the sunlight growing with you
I whisper to you in colours not yet seen.
The colours of a being are felt in the soul

I asked, take me to the dreams of yesteryear,
Where my family grew and I loved them so
Uluru spoke of them in their dreamtime.
They knew my light and grew in strength

Can you feel, that my life is as you are?
A soul that rests until it meets another.
That you can talk of dream times in colours
You are welcome to be at one with me

I thanked Uluru sat down and waited
It was as if I was being painted in dreams
Each moment held me, then was absorbed
I was lifted through many dream times.

Times came and the day grew long
I was so full of colour it ached my being
I will take this part with me great Uluru.
At which I flew swiftly to my awareness.

Fare ye well, great Monolith of the plains.
I shall try with my ways to honour you,
A whisper so faint that it caressed me
The colour said you are my child.

You must go see the real thing Jess, I wish I was in Aussie I would go and just sit there, Yours, Ian

one day there may be many
out on a prowl as the haters
are wont..looking for weak
victims that "Dont look right"
news is full of this kind of
search and destroy attitude
as the righteous of all race
decree themselves the new
gaurdians of crumbling earth
each races purity over the
other for Supremacy
they are organized and
everywhere across the planet
claiming righteous activitys
and duties to manitain the
way of life....the way of
the pure....Hunting...
searching...seeking
their numbers only grow
as dark at their hearts
as fueled too their purpose
spreading...
conquering
gaining smarts in court
how to swim through the
barriers of correcntess
gaining sympathy.....

dynamic leadership
and men and women
old and young who are
dissalusioned with the
world today
of pablum ideology
the freedoms of lifestyles
the bible forbids
starving in their own
countries and lack of
work while the gifted
from afar with grease
too the wheels of
corrupt feed new
mouths....

like the great flood
coming
the new Moses
the New King Davids
will lead the new
Legions of Righteous
under banners of
color proclaiming
loyalty too the death

am I rambling
what would we say
if this was 1938
and each of us had
ten years starvation
watching others live
well....protected

here..native children
were given to religious
goverment backed
systems for indoctrination
and destruction of culture
body and soul

mass extermination attempts
of native people across the
great north america
a people willing too share
but that was not good enough
today there are organized youths
in the cities too
across the globe with social media
letting them rise too the new
threats

hate is a useful tool the fight or flight
and as society breaks down
and it is breaking down
those that hold their own
and make a stand will be the ones
left standing
regardless of belief...flag...honor
Austraillia dropped nukes on indigenous
villages...they did not evacuate them
letting fall out land on them..
hardly any new invaders too an already
settled land for plunder accepted what
was already there...
closed members only system bought
up political positions and took over
the cities ports...transport lines
its what humans do..
how we survive...

I am not advocating anything
nore a creation of fiction that is
not already active today
in the news....the telly...

europe is a pot simmering

but then again..
Im just a hack poet
who does watch news
and talks too the streets
the tops..the brass..
the thinkers..
and the money people
who will survive
like the wealthy whom
vacated venice and built
summer mansions to
get rid of their holdings
in the black plaque times
the rest.....took their
chances....no freedom
of flight for them...

and the new...are making
bunkers....organizing goods
and other to defend
their compaounds...going
underground...training their
kids while the others buy
from their great gold
what they need

futures uncertian and the
end is always near

You have genius and I simply won't accept you denying it.
I have called others hacks, incompetent, stupid, vapid, much of which I regret, some not. I certainly don't miss some.
You speak wisdom, lucidly, yet it is not what I wanted to hear tonight. I made myself read this because I respect you.
There are young'uns and old'uns still active, still fighting the fight. Hate is not the answer, anger is powerful.
Glad to hear someone is feeling much like I am at the moment, even if it's a bit depressing.
We are not defeated, my friend.

read about survivors of camps and gaulags
residential schools..because there were a ton
that perished One way or another
anger made the few hone their skill...
guts too say no and not become the camp Bitch
or worse...a lack of inspiration to keep existing in
horrendous conditions....
this of course just documentation
but I had my journeys on foot..No one stopped
to pick up a scary looking big indian in a wool
navy seamens coat....dont blame them
not safe anymore the world..Not like it was once
but then other issues were at hand then...
and more now....

No we are the old timers who lived a bit of this
and for some a lot of that

I call myself a hack...because Im not really working
Neo like I should be working Neo...But then even in
real life....I just do what I need....and sometimes the
impossibly surreal More when I feel its like a statement
or In their face....Match this...Or can U do that....
wild moves....the crazy moves.....It...these moments
translates themselves too poetry here often
I know U think highly in regard and thank U...
and we have our spats which are epic and should be
that was how the old days worked..
no different the ethnic markets or gas stations in
places like Little Italy or other....the rez at times...
some I dont miss....ha ha...
well in real time here also....

brutes broques and baroque

everyone is out here fighting
some veer off and away
and others dig in

the not so depressing thing is
that Neo exists..and just in the nick
of time it did and hung in there!
despite us all...

a most academic study of creativity
ego and restraint...

Cheers!

I was white enough....Odin could be my God....I had enough of the "race"
in me....
Asked to belong to secret ojibway socieity ..a great honor
could have become a Masonic member...
but I wanted too just be an artist...a writer...a poet..
but I know many in these places
not all is bad
the idea of belonging to a brotherhood
or sisterhood for those without anything\
is human
to want to fit in too something
serve something
even soldiers
cops
spying beauracratic functions
that monitor web sites
need too be put in place
the press is all manipulation
of facts...
total truth is not what all
need to be exposed too
but for those that can see
outside the box or hve
worked for a spell
in a seer...guide....
assist position
there are rewards
intelligence and intuition

hate channelled is an important
function of man
how we survived this long
keeps our egos from being
over run
starting in messed up families
run by tyrants or addicts
alcoholics
the promiscuity of rampant
ungrounded drives

know many bright powerful
people today
still see them now and
again

if they are happy
thats good
not my trail

I like being dirt poor
with no voice
scratching out my
notes like some
street busker

makes me happy....

When you ask what I believe
I know not where to start,
for never would I wish to grieve
an open, honest heart.

The beauty that I love to see
may well some folk surprise,
this most endearing quality
is not shown to the eyes.

An inner joy and kindness that
gives strength to stand alone,
which shelters from the blindness that
makes many others groan.

No point to angst or worrying
nor keeping anger warm,
no reason for that hurrying,
conforming to the norm.

Lay back and take life at its pace
not pushing it to yours,
no winner to the mad rat-race,
a happy heart endures.

this is a bit hippy shit to my way of thinking. No room for hate, plenty of room for creative, productive anger.

Though yes, we absolutely must keep our hearts open to beauty, kindness and goodness.

No point to angst or worrying

Angst and worry do no-one any good, a total waste of time and emotion.
Keeping anger warm does not deny the validity of righteous anger, merely states that brooding is wasteful as it hurts no one but self.
