The Man Who Fell To Earth

Would-be
heroes and star men, rainbow serpents
and young Americans
knocking on death's door. Listen to the
bones speaking with alligator teeth as they
tear themselves from flesh. Listen to life's
musical interpretation of atoms floating
somewhere in stardust.

Last few words:
One of my musical heroes. David always reinvented himself through his musical genius. I think poets need to have that Will-O'-The-Wisp ability, too. Otherwise we stagnate. *In the villa of Ormen stands a solitary candle, in the center of it all, your eyes." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kszLwBaC4Sw

Yo Scribbler, what's wrong with having 20 poet's homages?

Did I miss yours?

I'm still in process of writing mine. Being mostly a rhyming poet I want to be sure the thing is done right without the feel of hash forced rhymes and also with a free enough "feel" to it to not clash with his life style...............stan

A lovely tribute to a loss of such a multitude of fun and near excellence,
The heaven will take a while to adjust to such a roving Spirit.
