Momentary Ecstatic Enchantment..

Momentary Ecstatic Enchantment...

The look in his eyes was cautious,
there was no surmise twas rapturous,
his sharp eyes pierced my eyes,
'twas momentary,
each vision captured enchanted in a frame,
as large as a cinema screen
upon my retina implanted,
so did it seem

the whole life of enchantment,
like a rivers flow, passed by
the moment was ecstatic true,
every second of it too
my eyes engorged with his beautiful smile,
his wink,
his everlasting mysterious look,
his love,
his praise just flashed by
as he once again looked into my smiling eyes,
it pieced every bit of me
I just couldn’t cry
he simply passed into another realm of his own unknown,
but left an indelible smile cast in stone,
on every bone

He loved me yes,
I was his alone,
that moment became
Was...

My throat choked,
the kids slept by
to the world unknown
Bereft!

Twas a most memorable moment
now did rapture
only my vision did capture!

I think this is one of the best writes of yours I have read in a few years of being on Neo, Bloody Great young Bard.
It didn't contain any self of cringing and whinging well done and I with many others have waited for these pieces to come tapping from your keyboard,
Yours, Ian..

a great handling of topic of love
the power of its important kept
lust is okay but its sloppy
like a bucket
people get excited
this is like the moment
of that aim
that power

before the great guns
go off

I worked years in a bar
not bouncer doorman
just man about town
sober then
good bad and ugly
council advice
presence

dancing with my lady
and others
but I was not judgemental
intel came from everyone
a town operates with all
input

society was open then
more

beseeching poetry I like
and Smitten
search and destroy
the aha moment

the rush of dazzle
before the petal and thorns

Great Poetry piece Lovedly!

thank U

'Tis like a Nobel for me
My gracious thanks to thee

I understood the metaphors.

Do you mean 'pierced' ? If so, as you have already used that word in the first stanza, perhaps you could use another?
