free will

all sense exists, especially eye and ear
that Divine can view designing so diverse
and beauty, through beholders, can appear
from all the points in this great universe

we splintered our experience of Love
that we may rate affection, joy and tears
to cause, at times, absence of the dove
so we can learn to deal with hate and fears

with haste that we all hardly ever notice
we seek out knowledge, assimilate obscure
for creation’s manifest of thought is endless
and this sojourn is just a short detour

and none perceives an item the same way
from monster stars to microscopic krill
discernment’s for empyreal survey
emotion’s response – well, that is our free will

life everlasting, sure thing
consciousness everlasting, I doubt it
- that's a good we read there . . . thanks for making me wonder

For your read and thoughts

As for your pondering, here's more food for thought ...It seems that some scientists are beginning to look at the concept that consciousness gives rise to life, not the other way around...

would that mean consciousness is apart from life?
what is not life must surely be dead.

consciousness = life
life = consciousness
So what came first, the chicken or the egg?

Life is ever-changing, but consciousness remains steady. Even after only one day (at my age lol) I notice that my body has deteriorated just that tad more, while the geranium in my garden has blossomed.

But I am just as conscious today as I was yesterday...

We only see life as this universe because it is all we know. But people write stories for us to read from their imaginations, and we call it 'fiction'... what is imagination if not consciousness? Who's to say that those places and people and events we call fiction hasn't really happened somewhere? Some people may be aware of them without recognising it, and just think they're making it up. Or perhaps even, in a universe of our making someone may be walking our dreams...

So it possibly follows, who's to say that consciousness isn't imagining a story for us to dream?

'There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of in our philosophy' ...

I think they must be mutually inclusive - life cannot be without consciousness, and consciousness cannot exist without imagining, and somehow, magically resulting in what we call life

Thanks for the return to this, I'm glad it got you thinking :)

the staple of philosophy. and here's some more - I was under the impression that consciousness is awareness and while it responds to it's surroundings with clarity, the magic of imagination is a whole different kettle. something that can be and is used unwisely - where that can seldom be said about consciousness.

as for the chicken and the egg . . . I always have to mention the dinosaurs

Consciousness = awareness
Imagination = thought - doesn't matter good or bad in the general working of things - both concepts are simply offshoots of love - one through love itself, the other through the loss of, or the fear of the loss of, the same

and I still cannot envision consciousness without imagination

Once again you have given insight to a reader like me about your vast insight in perceiving things in a unique way. In doing so you open the window of the reader to see your perspectives and ponder over them...I first thought you could be a good teacher to which you said no...now i ask if you are a scientist with spiritual inclinations...whatever be it...you are a great creature...:)

thanks for posting this and making me scratch my head....

Regards,

raj (sublime_ocean)

You are so nice to me
Thank you for the great comment, and very lovely compliment

and lol - no, I certainly don't have the brains to be a scientist ... but I do love reading different viewpoints of others

I am definitely a believer in our spirit lives - more than a believer. My son has given me the truth of that

I happened to read your comment or i should say logical thinking and/or conscious awakening or lateral...bilateral..multi layered or esoteric or whatever,,,you did back up your theory pretty well,,,i will send you a link which I am sure you would enjoy which had me as much engrossed..

for now my head is pretty heavily loaded reading your comment to Simon...

I don't know if I've seen this particular man before - but I've been aware of much of the argument he used, as I've read most of his references... over the years these and other articles/theories (along with my own perceptional experiences) have all helped me form my own hypothesis of life the universe and everything .... which, I might add, this man seems to agree with....

Thank you for sharing this link with me, Raj
In case Simon, or any other who may read this, is interested, I will share it here too

It probably the ability to become aware of your own form, or the form you have become.
When are we human ? Is it that struggle for sustenance, what are we aware of, where did we come from??
A lump of rock has an atomic structure yet does it think, it sits there pondering its change into something else, do we know.
I have spoken to the children and asked many questions, also questioned the Teachers that teach the children.
The universe or this universe is vast and as humons we are restricted to its comfort, or death, the breath of the sun would kill all things on this lump of rock, and one day it will do so without a tear from the rest of the known universe, and there are many things that can wipe out the humon races without bothering the sun.
The world is a precarious place to dwell and that man has only used its beauty for around 5 million years, look what we have done, it is here for us to use not abuse.
Yellowstone could destroy most of the known inhabitants of this Earth within a few weeks or so and we would have to become underground creatures.
The children taught me of the Spirit world, but I am still trying to figure out many things correctly, and maybe I haven't enough time here to do so, and will then journey on to be with them as we all surely will.
I shall embrace the world they live in as I cross to them.
I hope that one day soon after I go, someone will find the tapes of me talking to them and write about their world as it should be written, I just scrape the edges of their realm, where my own part of that place is, but I have promised them that I will help them in their tasks there, and then be able to open the doors to many that become lost.
This will be running into Sunday here so I shall close the book for today,
Yours Ian.T

awesome Poem Judyanne!

I hear the crow and seek him with my grey eyes
a moment to break my stride..
the ravens talented tonque powerful and masterful
outwitting the sound of the time whistle which one
day may fall silent and still
the ravens will be

The snowflake landing on my lashes for a moment
blurring my vision
till it melts from my body heat
my breathe in wonder as I look up
at the white falling down
Like looking up at the stars at night
glittering in their fire
endless...
the familiar place I learned as a child
and young man
the constellations
that will glow over my grave
soon
be there in the summer breezes
when my restless heart keeps
me from resting
and sings her wind sighs soothing
in the hush of its evening lullabye!

Thank You Judyanne for this
wonderful poem!

I am sorry - I was just going through a few of my writes to see if any needed edits jumped out at me and saw this I haven't responded to

in youth..... ....one moves with free will
then as one ages ....one moves with ones will
then
when one has to be moved around
then one has to depend on his written
WILL how strong tis....
this was the gist
