But How Do YOU Feel, Lovey?

what if i wrote about love
like it was still lovely

i could do that.

i sit and i watch them, and i'm happy. they're good,
they're alright. i'm actually happy.
in that secret presence no one else gets to see

it's strange to think you never liked this.
it's strange to think that you never saw me in that gentleness,
but
i guess you never did.

what if i wrote about hurting
every single day
what would you say if i asked you
when the cutoff date is for using this as a reason?
when does it become an excuse?
when is mourning yourself to sleep unacceptable?
when do i start filling up again?

what if i wrote about my love
like it's no different

what if i cherished the small smile that was just for me
all your metal and ink and your shining wonder

what if we stood face to face
what happens then?
well, then
i would crawl back to boo
and let her sweep up the pieces again.
then pumpkin works her magic
and tells me it should've happened much sooner
and it's going to take a long time,
but somehow it will be okay

inevitably
i break down.

now the question is,
who could fix me?

Last few words:
holidays. yeehaw.

isolation in a world of happenings..
those observers observing
others..courted..loving..happiness.
strife..open to the world

I live on the edge....society to myback
and my face to the wilds
or vice versa

sometimes accepting new occupants
to my table...my world

those coming forward
with their agendas
opening the lock of the heart
if we give it
and in recieving
and acceptance
what is rejected
what is dependent

Fantastic poem about
this....Leaning
towards solace
a title to a vid

I live in my head
and the gambling of love
is in the five per cent
of reality and groundedness

a yard big enough to pace
and think
to exchange thoughts
a smile

Written well and smooth
about topical subjects
of contact with others
and its importance

Thank You!

thanks for the read. it's always nice to have you stop by~

I think this one is one of the best I have read for a while.
The correct form and ways of writing may have slid a little but overall I say excellent ,

bah! i am terrible with form lol. i like to use spacing and punctuation for dramatic effect more than anything else, so i suppose i only ever write prose. still, it's a form of poetry, i guess :P thank you for the compliments and comments Ian, i appreciate it.
