A lioness cub morphed
The cubs in a den of lions, this world
eaten alive by mighty warriors, police
the lioness cry out in vain for the life of her cub.
Hearts formed rigid ice crystals stood by
as mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, cousins,
aunts, uncles and friends wrangle in agony
at their loved one's lifeless body laid in the streets for hours.
F–ing animals they're called
Their peace turned injustice
In an instance shots fired
Cub down, shot dead in compliance.

I can feel the raw sadness and the emotions behind this piece.
There is much injustice going into this world and as well known, Man is doing
the biggest part of this oppression.
Good use of metaphore.
PS. I thought this piece could make a great benefit of some punctuation.
