Another Now

Was it a door that dissolved in front of me?
I felt the same as yesterday, yet a feeling of full
There in front of my senses I rode a rainbow
I was part of a rainbow, was this a dream

Feelings transformed into shades of colours
I was at peace there, no surprise just being
A voice came to my colours asking me to feel
“Feel with the mind a mixture of memory and now.”

There in my thoughts came a figure so pure.
If I had a mouth it would have gaped wide
Yet there was a natural being that whispered
It whispered sounds I had known from time past

We have waited for this now, for long times
That time is just a circle to us, it was just now
You called our names many times and we drew near
Now we are a part of the whole, how beautiful

The lights from the colours shimmered and called
“Let us show you, for you have been away since now.
Watch the times you spent with the physical beings.
Tell us of the things you did and learned of those days.”

The physical flashed at a high speed past and through
The now strained and pulsed, it joined all my yesterdays
There came all I met and knew, each with their colours true
A feeling of lightness drew me up, there as a new dawn

The voice shimmered in my sight, “do you remember me”
I knew then that I had arrived as a feather touching down.
“Where is my seat Sadie?” I asked, “Can I just stop a while?”
“We have eternity to journey as we wish” a chorus sang out.

I could turn, and as I did so you arrived full of questions.
Then you remembered the before times we spent together
Not only those times in thought but many rainbows of the now
As there is no time, we embraced now with dazzling colours.

We are a spark of energy connected through the cosmic universe. Our conscience self does end but our energy return from where we start. only to begin in a new consciences.
This is a good enlightened write, I just feel that there is no god, because we are all Gods, a special breed on this earth.

Thanks for your visit it was good, then the think time encouraged by a few words was great.
Even the scriptures said that those Gods made man in their image so may be you are right, I guess it is just the level of awareness we will find ourselves in one long day,
Go well my friend we will have eternity to think of these things.

if one wants to critique this poem his only words will be two-- absolutely awesome , Ian you belong to the age of traditional poetry making, you continue from each line so beautifully, and the ideas make total sense , but Ian believe me there is God and he loves you

I see you, and thank you for your words.
I just write what is given me at any one time.
As to being a Bard well there as many will say only be one Bard and his 450th birthday has just passed.
We are but tools of a greater Spirit which to me is the joining of all the Spirits out there.
I am a spiritualist young Emeka, it is not far removed from many thoughts, I have been taught by the teachers there but mostly the children in their simplicity and unconditional love.
I hope that all people can belong to a religion of their own that tells them to love their neighbours as they would themselves.
Mark 12 verses 24 - 28 if I remember one of those books I use to read.
Go well and let your God take you by the hand,

Ian you are so funny, you said one of those books i used to read

I also have the book of Enoch, one of the ones left out of the Bible, it was translated into English from German in 1929 but had been hidden as some of the old books for 2000 years, written in the original Hebrew. It is a wonder they weren't burnt over the years.
As to poetry books I have a few but very rarely read nowadays.
Time as you grow older seems to contract and each day seems a few hours.
Take care young man and go well, Yours Ian.T
