Cowboys
Under the scorching heat
of the Texan sun,
there're heroes and bandits
with loaded guns...
One group enforces the law
the other are troublemakers
but the guns that they draw
marks them as equal warriors
Facing one another
with the western spirit
refusing to surrender,
in battle they meet
Merciless bullets flying,
shooting guns smoking.
The intensity is growing,
one by one, warriors are dying
Until at last,
only two stand,
the sheriff
and a cruel man
Each left with a bullet,
to kill or be killed...
One final moment
for one last kill.
Both pull the triggers
at the same time
One shot pierced a shoulder
the other kills a swine
"Somebody go get the doctor!"
a voice called out.
Someone calls for the undertaker,
shouting out loud
At the end of the day,
the dead are buried
the sheriff went his way
once his wound has healed....

critiquing
i think i like the theme that a gun is a gun both in the hand of the claiming rightmost and sinner, the gun itself is a sinful commodity used only to exhale breath
