Writer's Block, Blah blah...

Hello All,

Been away for a few months...just living and keeping happily busy. Getting the urges to write, but really struggling to find my mojo again. So don't be too harsh (Weirdelf et al...)

For the past 18 months I've been experimenting with different forms and themes. I still love free verse and my quirky sense of humour seeps out, even when I'm trying to write it straight!

I'll keep plugging away, but do find it disheartening that I feel no-one is reading my work...there is no device on Neo anymore for seeing if it's been looked at. It's not to feed my vanity, but it stimulates my creativity.

I hate indifference...hate it, love it or loathe it...if it's indifferent to people, I feel I shall just wither and give up as it's not up to anyone's standard. I do try and comment on some of the stream output and I do try to be constructive.

Feeling weary and sad that I can't write very well at the minute.

Please don't go away. Try to join the workshops. They were always successful in a way to teach me something new to stimulate my appetite after long periods of non flowing ink.

I know how bad it feels not to be able to put your words in something worthy to be rea, but. I also know you' ll go over the writer's block thing and many here shall come to read you. Trust me

I will make sure to drop by and see what you are writing at the moment :) its a real bummer when the muse disappears I remember a time a while back my muse went on long service leave lol but she came back and I have to say I am enjoying my writing more this time round. I have been participating as much as I can with the workshops Rula's right they do stir the creative juices if you have the time give them a shot cant hurt and I have to say its really helped me in a few areas of my writing

much love JC xxx

I have been at this stage many times. Even took a break for several months myself. I appreciate the time you have spent with me so I will devote what little time I have for reading and commenting on your past work.

I'm not certain you will recall, but about 6 or 7 months ago you were in a chat with Ron and me with regards to improv. I was floored by your ability to create such stark imagery in a short moment. You shouldn't give up on writing. Wesley gave me some stern and fatherly advice not long ago, "stop pretending you can't write."

If I am anything, I am a man of my word, so I will review no other piece on Neo until I have reviewed your postings back to Chamel House.
