Freedom

Freedom

It's not free anymore that was so 1964
It left South with Joe down on interpass 9
Yet we will not relent in fact we shall shine
From the twin towers that had people perish
To the music in our hearts that people cherish
Just like back in the day at the disco in studio 64
We shall proclaim the message that so many our searching for
To let the love rule as we trust in the Lord nothing more
Freedom is for the lonesome child who lost there way in the night
Freedom looks to the handicapped, elderly & blind that their right
Each of can learn to do our part in a world that's slowly dying
We need to start learning to shining our light to all corners of the earth
To the helpless, weak & torn
Some may even curse the day they were actually born
Freedom lay on the hill at Woodstock as Hendrix was wailing his guitar
In each of our eyes we sought it's course out of it's delicate bars
Learn from the prophets of old the very words of old
Shelter lies dormant amidst it's beckoning plow
A challenge to be free is only a question of time
Freedom sought out Dylan & the words of Joni Mitchell
Lines forming in the sand while there you stay in the middle
Children of the east come see the revolution
Those promises made in the dark have now been brought to the fullest of light
