Congratulations on the launch of workshops!

We're very excited to see the start of workshops -- this has been in development for more than a year, and has taken an enormous amount of work to create, coordinate, and launch.

Congratulations to everyone involved -- to Hooded Stranger, who is leading the program; to our AEC members: Race_9togo, crypticbard, Pugilist, scribbler, & Seren; to our first group of workshop leaders: CCFire, China Blue, Eduardo Cruz, Lou, Pamela A. Lamppa, & Weirdelf; to our first group of workshop moderators: Barbara Writes, Bonitaj, candlewitch, Ziggy, Yenti, whitescatter, scribbler; to all our workshop participants, including: Ayaz Warith, Geezer, Geremia, judyanne, Kailashana, kaligantsaros, Lonnie, magics02, Nevel, Poetree, raj, Roscoe Lane, Samaira, Tam the Chanter, themoonman, TheUnknownAuthor, xena465; and finally a second thanks to Nevel, for posting the poem "Too white, too dark, just eggs" which was the very first to get a workshop critique (by CCfire, followed a few hours later by Kailashana and by themoonman), and the first to improve in response (which you can track with the revisions feature!).

The introduction of workshop groups is the biggest change we've made to Neopoet since our initial launch in 2007. It's thrilling to see the first day has gone so well.

Again, a congratulations to everyone! [I've just thanked more people here than Kayne West at an award show so I might just include everyone now...]

Andrew, good job on the look and feel of the workshop category responses. Wondered how they would be recognized.

Thank you.

It should be a wonderful and enlightening experience and truly encourages the original intent of NeoPoet as I have understood it.

We look forward to making this workshop and many others a success.

I think this idea is a great idea and thanks to all who were behind it. Now this is what a workshop is intended to be and thanks to you Rett and Paul for all you do.

A Big Thanks! to everyone involved, from those behind the scenes (weirdelf & pugilist), the technical side (Andrew) my Wing-man (Geremia), the trustees, the AEC, the leaders, the moderators and most importantly...the participants who have made this all possible,

THANKS!

With all that I am and all that I could be, I walk this earth, yet nobody sees me.

Thank you for all the hard work you have put in

Stand tall, be proud to be who you are, give the world the finger!!!!

Hood for all you do

It is great

But let's lose the motto "family of poets". It sounds nice but families are dysfunctional and can be downright nasty.

cheers,
Jess

HA! HA! HA!

That's exactly why *a family of poets* is spot on.

Yours very truly,
Anna P. Esquire IV,

shall we act on it?
Democratic site. "Family of Poets" is just Spielberg mush. Fuck it off.

cheers,
Jess
