I"m Tired Too

I look at you
melting eyes
lets escape
and you say
"i'm tired
We are all
tired
tired of our marriage
our kids
our jobs
this state
this weather
our in laws
the loneliness
that is why
I am looking
at you
looking in you
in those eyes
in those beautiful
blue eyes.

Crest Hope detrimentz

a basin of years
washed
dust bowl salvations
in gritty glass prints

I was the ghost
of reasons
flown through
turbulent
tides

and you

the wings
of a broken salvation
rimmed in a dark night
like a bitter eclipse

pockets of stars
shinning
like payphone qaurters

a chord rested
between bars
and in the stillness
a mid step spark
of reason

ignitions
tumbling walls
of fortifications

I have been told to write a poem fair.
My mind is blank and so I sit and stare.
No words will come into my head you see,
until I think. "To be or not to be".

I have / been told / to write / a po / em fair.
My mind / is blank / and so / I sit / and stare.
No words / will come / into / my head / you see.
Un til / I think / to be / or not / to be.

Second attempt

Workshop:

Man, A King Of The Cats

A man who pissed you off so bold
Shopping is like sparkling gold
Glittering in the smile of a rose
When feelings of affection are revived.

I stay within financial means
But sometimes I get so steamed
Without retail therapy to tame my meanness
My submission is in jeopardy.

If I could turn back the hands of times
I may revise words that caused your demised
But then you'd still be the same old guy
I wish I could choke some sense into

A gentle lil pussy
Becomes a fierce cat

Under times umbrella

The place in mind
is a billion miles away
far beyond ones anticipated horizon…
some day it may rain there
till then just recreate…
the time has come
to simply wait…

Albeit!

Dactylic hexameter quatrain

The Dome by Ron Woodruff (BlueDemon77)

DRY grassland | BROWN, withered | REEDS flowing | SEA-like boughs | BREAK upon | WOODen beach

MEM-or-ies | SPEC-ter like | CROWD the mind | BRINGing past's | TOken mists | Phantom smells

WELLsian | VENture to | VIEW the once | KNOWN shapes of | GRACEful neck | STRETCHing reach

HAND grown cold | CHEST pallor | DRAINED to know | PAIN of loss | HUMan hells

Workshop:

I'm not sure of my stressed or unstressed words as I tend to get it misplaced. But here it is.

Back

I saw the first of them today.
Little flashes of yellow riding
the breeze across in front of me.
Migration from tree to ground has begun.
Soon now this back road will be covered.
Leaping into the swirling air as I pass by.
An orange and red and yellow announcement.
Fall has returned.

Please don't go, stay with me, I will cry if you leave.
If you go I will crack and fragment into two.
Though broken I will wait patiently for your love.
Look behind you will find I am here loving you.

Please don't go / stay with me / I will cry / if you leave.
