I think that most of us have had that feeling of disconnection
from the rest of the world at one time or another.
I used to like to get up early and go for a walk in a wooded area,
listening to the bird and seeing the animals beginning their day.
It's just quiet chatter and not like the world of man. We are sometimes
overwhelmed by the sound of tires, roar of motors and the blare of radios;
just wanting the peace and quiet of nature. I like the vision of this piece.
My only criticism, is that you seem to have misplaced a couple of words.
[I have no one to talk [to]. And [I am] flying] into the bird world.

Maybe you could delete the word [Hopelessly]? I get the feeling
that there is another word, wanted/needed here, but I can't quite get it.
If you delete it, it doesn't make a lot of difference.

I like the way this work depicts the feeling of isolation we've come to encounter, and how there is this plunge we take into that new reality. I also love this concept of the "bird world" and would love to see more poems that expand on it

Thanks for posting your piece here. It's a good read. I have written about "the pestilence" extensively. I've found that people want to read about it, I'm thinking that they are looking for the shared experience such as you mention in your piece!
