Thankyou for critiquing my work. It’s a cool feeling when a real life author critiques your work…not that it’s happened before…maybe that’s why it made me so happy. Yes, I was feeling a bit disillusioned with time and loss of youth then…I was thinking of a friend who told me she wanted us all to escape to a circus on the top of a big hill and never grow up…just live there and have ice cream everyday.

now if you can only tell me why my picture changed on explorer but I cannot ge t firefox to change it did the first time
it is is so minor I don’t want to bother Andrew with it
just a bit disheartening because everyone else can see the new picture of ( Jess and I) but I’m still looking at a white tiger which i love but I love my daughter more and now that she is a part of the crowd well

It is good to be back still not full steam but getting there

To everyone on neopoet: Thanks to everyone, including Andrew. I am looking into mentoring, if i can figure out the navigation process. 20 poems that you all will see, are what I think my best work. They were all written in a two week time span in March of 2008, except My Broken Heart. I included that one because it is supposed to be in the semi-finals with White Oak Press’s Free contest. Besides, I was hurt very badly, by someone who I thought had real feelings for me. I have been alone for 11 years, and maybe I’m too trusting, and naieve, but I am looking for true love, and i don’t want to spend the rest of my life without someone that truly loves me. My daughter Kristen, and my new granddaughter Genevieve, born May 1 2008, are my life. Without them I would not be here today. Writing poems has given me the will to stay alive, for the time being. If not for my precious Genevieve, I don’t know what i would do. P.S. Can any of you true poets come up with a poem for her name Genevieve? I am having trouble with the rhyme, and yes I would like it to rhyme. Thank-you all. Now I have some new friends, from all across the country. I live in Flint, Michigan, the Genral Motors Capital of the World. I was rasied in a middle-class General Motors family. I am 43 years old, and single, for how long, I don’t know. I am a very emotional person, and i think it is reflected in my poetry. Keep reading. Much love, Janice Herozg

WOW this poem is awesome. Written rhyme of ancient time. A tale of a fable foretold. I love the wording in this write. Running from yourself with your heart pounding so loudly. It drowns out all existence. But you cannot run away from yourself. Rivulets of tears. I know what it is to be in this place of the unknown. In the Darkness. Dark Knight never sees daylight.
