| About me | I am a learning poet, who isn't! I have a degree with a major in English and Psychology. My background in poetry is varied. For several years I moderated an online poetry workshop in New Zealand, my sole objective was to foster the considerable talent in the small country in which I live. I organised live poetry readings and poets came from all over the country to participate. I was part of the publication of several anthologies of poetry from this on line poetry forum. I think the poetic high light of my life was being requested to read a poem of mine at a poetry festival in the UK. It was a poetry festival where you get feedback from a "judge". The judge on this day was Ted Hughes, who you maybe know as the husband of Sylvia Plath. A day I will never ever forget as you can maybe imagine.
