Indeed we are an ocean apart, yet I feel the trails of life remain, for us, virtually the same, regardless of the sea that that defines me as an american and you as a brit (I hope I am correct.)
I believe with today’s technology we have sailed those troubled waters together and landed on a shore which I would proudly plant, the flag of friendship.

Not only do we share a common heritage (my family was originally from England), but I have a grandson in London. Sadly his mom and my son broke up and she moved back there. We still keep in touch. I enjoy reading your poetry and with a couple of stumbles find some good people here. Keep on writing sir.
