Acute Ingenuity

I must covet the images that run scared.

Quivers of scenes move unhurried

From the outer edges.

Past specters seeped in-between my pores,

While I was looking.

Hiding in the pigment until the rage was the

Perfect hue.

Not sane, not insane.

Illogical proviso dangle and entice my

Madness.

They have remained covert since the

Foray.

Focus now. . You can see them

Move beneath the skin.

Upward.

A march to madness.

Only a mind mass can obstruct

Effectively.

I believed tunnel vision would bar

The door.

Nothing in, less out.

But my breach of buoyancy in reality

Is what they needed to grow in

Force.

I will take it all back.

I can do that you know.

The crazy can do that.

And if you can see the bumps

Scurry under my tent. .

Know they will sniff out your

Weakness.

That’s what the over achievers call

Insanity.

 Instead of failure, I chose

Lunacy.

Any excuse is better than

None.. . They say.

They.

Say.
