so glad to see the new trim lines
of this landcape
the barren sparce occupation of
having the single one poem to
be read as if we all were given
a single moment at the podium
in dark old bars during week nights
while pool balls clacked
and fresh faces waited turns with
sweaty palms and drank cool drinks
to smooth verbs ready to pour

there is no intent for me to publish
or read in public

I presently am undergoing transformation
of yet another sombre year
and hold on to the mast while storms
and empty dizzy days in horse lattitudes
green new the life about me

i am withdrawing now
revealing nothing to assist here
or mass pulp of poem

i will however continue to comment
on the bright new lines
that appear and stay steady
like the light of
prayer candles
