IU,
I see dueling twiddles upon meager hill.
U see dancing statues gliding on ecstasy.
I battle plagued with certainty of lengthy defeat.
U battle smugly using the arrogance of nature.
I assert that cycles will die a premature.
U assert life itself has yet to fail us yet.
I weep for heroes that never were.
U weep not knowing thou are one.
I learn afoul to avoid leaps of love.
U learn pain is a scholar to precede.
I breathe truths of emptiness and less.
U breathe an abundance, dreaming of full.
I wish to now place U before I.
U wish I greater place than for U.
UI.
My first poem!

Welcome
Not bad for a first poem. I would have never thought to write one that. Welcome to Neopoets. Hope you submit more work.
