Emanating warmth from within

All that I am not,all that I am

Still a little boy

Yet every bit a man

Multi faceted gem

A crystal made of sand

The answers that you seek are written on the wind

Still tilting at those windmills

Only part of a master plan

Making your way in the real world

Just doing the best you can

The peace of mind you are seeking is written on the wind

A wild fire out of control

No boundaries will ever hold

The intrigue of the man

Are the depths of an unexplored land

and the secrets locked within

Are those written on the wind

I appreciate moderate constructive criticism

Who has seen the wind

Great book by W.O Mitchell
a canadian author

and wind makes you feel
cold warm hot annoyed
the senses the skin
hair eyes fingertips
to listen to its voice

yes it takes my mind off
things
when it gets really bad
i just go down along the
waterfront walking path
where everyone else hangs
out with the gardens and
the breakwater stones
beachs etc

listen to the waves
the sooth of the surf
whitecap conversations
and the dull hush of
water breaking on
sand again and again

like a heartbeat

wonderful poem

Will of the wisp or Zephyr?

Lovely poem Chrys which conveys the feeling of a multi-talented man who inspires in an almost mercurial way as he looks for the answers…the Zephyr..but perhaps lacks the grounding of real commitment to relationships..the will of the wisp. The wind is truly an unpredictable force but if you let it fill your sails you can still go far no matter what form it takes..lol…and I’m sure you know how experiencing its lack can be, lying in the proverbial doldrums. (PS there is a typo…our Don Quixote should be “tilting” at his windmills)
