I don’t want to play anymore.
This isn’t any fun.
It’s all heartaches and teardrops.
I quit this game! I’m done.
I hear laughter in the distance.
How i wish that it was near.
That it were my truly loved ones.
The ones that i hold dear.
But now I’m wrapped up in this game.
With all it’s twists and turns.
It’s like a Salem witch hunt.
Help me ,please! It burns!
I just want to rest now.
I don’t want to play this game.
It’s turned into a labrynth.
Everything looks the same.
I don’t want to play anymore
This isn’t any fun
It’s all heartaches and teardrops
I quit this game! I’m done.

Games
Whatever game it is you have been caught up in Lacy I sincerely hope it is done as the poem suggests. Life is too short for such things. Its an engaging poem and there is hope reflected in its strength. Keith
The empatic call of the escape artist
well written.
I hear an edge of panic
in this one. You’ve written it well.
