Cicadas Sunrise, Sunset
At the sunrise of a new day,
she rise to the heavens
from the heart of the earth
After seventeen years hidden away
she emerge from her nest
in search of a mate
Cicadas a beautiful creature
finds her mate somewhere in time
Then dies before the next sunset
I want the raw truth, feel free to knock me on my back
What did you think of my title?

Circada a member of the locust family
the females produce a vibrational hum they are found on the east coast of the states and I witnessed circada they come from the bases of trees when you squeeze one we would get a tickle like a shock.Wonderful Poem for a fasinating creature.

Thanks Kaz & Dabbler
Thanks for the wonderful comment and thank you dabbler for the clarification also. I never heard of this creature before weirdelf challenge me to write a poem about this her.I thought it was a spider since we were talking about spiders. After checking the dictionary on my computer I new it was not a spider. I didn’t know what it was, so I wrote the poem based on what wierdelf says it does in it habitat, which I tought was facinating.
