above is a link to a poem video I made. I’m not sure if I can upload the poem here, so I linked to my website. There is music that accompanies it, you should see a small “sound player” type box in the lower left corner. Just click the play button and the music will start. Don’t worry if it’s a couple of seconds into the video, but definately play the music with the poem for the full feel. This was my first attempt at animation and hopefully you’ll enjoy it. Watch all the way through, as I intentionally added some elements at the end (before the credits)

re: Abstract art.

Thanks for the constructive comment, Joe! This poem was more about “experimenting” with the concept of animation for me. I’ve always wanted to create a poem that was fluid, ie., one minute it can say one thing, the next the words shift and an entirely new poem is created while still referencing the first poem. Did you catch the different elements in the ending sequence? At one time the poem is a haiku, at another point it is an acrostic, etc. Toyota is funny, I was looking for Hyundai! lol
