The heavens opened up and cried, as an angel broke my heart;

your poem
An angel broke my heart;
as the heavens opened up and cried
in sheets upon the ground,
washing away
any memories
I could carry home.
Celestial beings slowly sighed,
as the gusts blew us apart;
in a storm of lament,
we parted ways forever…
sorry i couldnt resist editing this, it has such feeling and musicality.
Thank you so much! I love
Thank you so much! I love your version, and believe it or not I find it easier to write in a rhyme scheme or lyrical structure. The irony is, to write truly free of any structure, takes work and thought, whereas structure creates a freedom within me to shape words and thought into beautifully tragic images. :)do you like any of my other works?
