Just make it go away
The pain the heartache
The never-ending dreams
Consumed her awful thinking
Every waking hour, she pleaded
Just make it go away
She slept on a bed of pins
Awaken by the darkness within
The fight the struggle
Those unrelenting thoughts
Just wouldn’t go away
A slew of doctors, she saw
Doped up on meds, she became
The battle from within raged on, fierce
She’d been conquered by the terror
That wouldn’t go away
Peace seek out her spirit
Took away the terror that controlled
Stole the daylight in her core
Planted the darkness in her sole
That wouldn’t go away
She sleeps in peace to night
Bathing in her soothing bubbles
The final cut upon her flesh
Filled her tub flowing blood
She finally made it go away
I want the raw truth, feel free to knock me on my back
Inspired by the show “without a trace”

Those shows end bad alot
Those shows end bad alot don’t they Barbra.
I liked it, in the sense it ended in suicide. It’s poetry. Just unnerving. Also poetry. Very nice. My only catch was
sole- soul
Thanks for sharing that with us

…great work! paranoia, in its truest sense…tragic though… i just find the title repetitive within the poem…but i guess its just me…overall, the poem is great!
