Style / Type:
Western Classic
Dreams of maturity
while still so young,
songs of free love
were songs being sung;
tapestry thought patterns
indulging cheap wine,
billowing smoke
expanding your mind;
political talk
with nothing to fear,
living a day at a time
year after year;
the sixties and seventies
were in thier own way,
too much information
leaving nothing to say.
I want the raw truth, feel free to knock me on my back
What did you think of my title?
How was my language use?
What did you think of the rhythm or pattern or pacing?
How does this theme appeal to you?
How was the beginning/ending of the poem?
Is the internal logic consistent?

Agreed,
IKnow
Disagree, respectfully
We did make a difference in the ’60s. The world would be a much harsher place if we hadn’t promoted love, life and the planet.
cheers,
